DA (Dassault Aviation), Direction Générale Technique / Direction de la Prospective (DGT/DPR).

DA has a renowned activity in numerical simulation in fields as varied as aerodynamics, structure or electromagnetism. Developments in the field of numerical models within the conception process have recently allowed the prototype-free development of the Falcon 7X business plane.

In the last few years, multidisciplinary optimization is a strategic axis of the conception process development. It involves various levels of modelisation, from 'pre-project' models to fine-grain "finite elements"-style models. Uncertainty management, already present in pre-project phases, now has an essential role to play and robust estimation seems to be the main objective of the coming years.

Furthermore, DA is developing an expertise in stochastic modelisation around mathematical developments of fractionary processes and their applications in the field of cartography (several publications in international newspapers).

DA is involved in these projects:

· european project NODESIM (NOn DEterministic SIMulation)

· OMD (Optimisation Multi-Disciplinaire, multidisciplinary optimization) with the ANR,

·  IOLS and EHPOC with the SYSTEM@TIC PARIS-REGION pole.
